The SEAI grant offers homeowners up to €3,000 to support the installation of Solar PV panels and battery energy storage systems. This support is available to owners of dwellings built and occupied before 2011.Typically a 1kW solar PV system would require 3 or 4 solar panels on your roof
Claim up to €600 towards the purchase and installation of an electric vehicle home charger unit. A government funded support scheme to assist homeowners install an electric vehicle charge point on their property. The scheme provides a grant up to the value of €600 towards the purchase and installation of a home charger unit. The applicant must be the owner of an eligible new or second-hand electric vehicle (EV).
The Support Scheme for Renewable Heat is a government funded initiative designed to increase the energy generated from renewable sources in the heat sector. The scheme is open to commercial, industrial, agricultural, district heating, public sector and other non-domestic heat users.
The Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS) offers grant aid for certain on-farm capital investments. The scheme offers grant aid of 40% towards the cost of certain investments – 60% in the case of young farmers. This scheme will close on 16th April 2021.
